About the Role:
Bloomer Hardware is looking for a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our team in Bloomer, WI! In this role, you'll be the face of our store — helping customers find the right products and solutions for their projects. If you love hardware, home improvement, and great customer service, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in locating products and providing knowledgeable recommendations
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shelves and displays
- Answer customer questions about hardware, tools, and home improvement products
- Support inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to meet store sales goals and deliver excellent service
- Handle returns and exchanges in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hardware, tools, or home improvement products is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and point-of-sale software
