Full-Time Sales Associate — Mobile Home Parts & Home Improvement

National Hardware & Mobile Home Parts is seeking a dependable, customer-focused sales associate interested in a long-term position.

Our home improvement center specializes in mobile home parts and also serves residential customers. You will help customers select doors, windows, kitchen and bath products, and other construction and repair supplies. This is a hands-on position that combines sales, computer work, stocking, and loading products.

Pay: $16–$20 per hour plus bonuses, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated product knowledge. Applicants with strong experience in mobile home parts, building materials, doors, windows, or kitchen and bath products may qualify for the higher end of the range.

Responsibilities

Listen to customers, understand their projects, and help them select the correct products.
Learn our product lines, sizes, specifications, and common applications.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our computerized point-of-sale system.
Lift, move, and help load heavy or bulky products, using assistance and equipment when needed.
Safely climb ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise.
Operate a forklift after completing required training and authorization.
Keep displays, shelves, and work areas organized and clean.
Work cooperatively with coworkers and treat customers with patience, courtesy, and understanding.

Requirements

Some familiarity with construction materials, home improvement products, or building repairs is required. Mobile home parts knowledge and sales experience are preferred.
Comfortable using computers and willing to learn our point-of-sale system.
Able to perform the essential physical duties of the position, including lifting and loading heavy products and climbing ladders, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Forklift experience is helpful; applicants without experience must be willing to complete training.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a customer-first approach.
Dependable attendance and an interest in steady, long-term employment.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Willing to submit to required drug and alcohol screening and a background check.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule that includes Saturdays. No Sunday work. Applicants must be available for flexible hours and holiday shifts when the store is open.
