National Hardware & Mobile Home Parts – Florence, SC is seeking an EXPERIENCED Mobile Home Installation & Repair Technician to perform residential and manufactured-home installation and repair work.
Full-Time | $18–$28/hour, based on experience and demonstrated skills

This is a skilled hands-on position. We are looking for someone who has experience in construction, remodeling, manufactured-home repair, or a closely related trade—not someone looking for an entry-level general labor position. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS IN A SIMILAR WORK-RELATED INDUSTRY, DO NOT APPLY.

Typical work includes:

Installing exterior and interior doors
Installing replacement windows
Installing and repairing mobile-home skirting
Installing bathtubs and surrounds
Installing kitchen and bathroom cabinets
Installing water heaters
Plumbing repairs and fixture installation
Trim, molding and finish carpentry
Flooring and miscellaneous interior repairs
Building and repairing small decks, landings and steps
Exterior mobile-home repairs
Assisting with HVAC and utility hookups when needed
Loading materials and equipment for jobs
Working directly with customers at their homes
Qualifications: We prefer at least three years of relevant construction, remodeling, mobile-home repair or installation experience. Applicants should be comfortable using power and hand tools and able to complete quality finish work.

Because our technicians may work at customers' homes, professionalism is particularly important. The employee must communicate appropriately with customers, protect the customer's property, and clean the work area after completing a job.

The position requires lifting and carrying heavy materials, climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and working outdoors during hot and cold weather.

A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required, along with reliable attendance and a stable employment history. Pre-employment drug/alcohol testing is required.

Compensation: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
