Sales Associate – Furniture & Appliances
We’re looking for a motivated, dependable Sales Associate to join our Furniture & Appliance team.
This isn’t a high-pressure sales position. Our goal is to understand what the customer needs, know our products, provide great service, and help customers make the right purchase for their home.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and provide a professional, helpful sales experience
- Learn and sell furniture, mattresses, appliances, and related products
- Ask the right questions to understand each customer’s needs, budget, and priorities
- Build quotes and sales orders accurately
- Follow up with customers on quotes, special orders, and purchasing decisions
- Maintain strong product knowledge and stay current on promotions and manufacturer programs
- Explain available protection plans, delivery, installation, financing, and other services
- Verify orders, pricing, payments, and customer information for accuracy
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and properly tagged sales floor
- Work with the warehouse, delivery, service, and administrative teams to make sure customers are taken care of from the initial sale through completion
- Take ownership of customer concerns and help find solutions when problems arise

- Willing to follow established sales and operational processes
- Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
- Able to communicate professionally in person and over the phone
- Willing to follow up instead of simply waiting for customers to return
Previous furniture, mattress, appliance, retail, or sales experience is helpful, but we’re willing to train the right person.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this position isn't just measured by sales volume. A great salesperson takes care of the entire customer experience.
That means building relationships, producing accurate orders, protecting company margins, following up with customers, communicating with the rest of the team, and making sure what we promise the customer is what we deliver.
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
