Job Summary:
Alpha Building Center is currently seeking a creative individual to fill our hybrid position in our print department.
This position includes the design of prints for a variety of buildings, most of these projects are agricultural or residential. This position allows an individual the opportunity to connect with the community by actively engaging people interested in a new building project.

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed architectural drawings, plans/prints based on sketches/ideas.
- Guide customers through the design process.
- Guide customers through product material selection.
- Collaborate closely with contractors/customers to ensure designs are to their needs.
- Prepare standard prints that consist of floor plan, elevations, section cuts, and interior/exterior renderings.
- Update prints with contractors/customers order change requests.
- Guide customer with VR headset tour and usage tutorials.
- Use a large format printer to make copies/scans upon request.
- Work closely with other departments within the company for print needs.
Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sketchup / CAD: 1 year (Preferred)
- Enscape: 1 year (Preferred)
- Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
- Outlook: 1 year (Preferred)
- VR Headset (any)
- Large Format Printer (Any)
Qualifications:
- Must have exceptional listening, communication, and interpersonal skills with customers and co-workers.
- Must have efficient time management and good organizational skills.
- Must be able to lead meetings with customers.
- Experience reading and understanding detailed floor plans.
- Must learn product knowledge to recommend to customers.
- Experience creating detailed floor plans.
- Must be able to work with large format printer.
- Must be available to work until 4:30pm weekdays.
