Position Summary
Farm & Home Hardware is seeking a friendly, reliable Part-Time Cashier to provide excellent customer service and ensure fast, accurate checkout experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment, and supports overall store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a positive, helpful attitude
- Accurately ring up purchases using the POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods responsibly
- Answer basic product and store questions or direct customers to the right department
- Maintain a clean and organized front-end area
- Assist with bagging, returns, and exchanges
- Help with light stocking and front-end merchandising as needed
- Support team members during busy periods
Qualifications
- Strong customer service mindset
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
Work Schedule
- Flexible part-time hours
- Evening and weekend availability preferred

Compensation: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
