About the Role:
Join Northwoods Wholesale Outlet as a Hardware Sales Associate and become a vital part of our team! In this role, you'll engage with customers, provide expert advice, and help them find the right tools and supplies for their projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting hardware products and tools based on their needs.
- Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on hardware and DIY projects.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and restocking efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming store environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Knowledge of hardware products and tools is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Positive attitude and a passion for helping customers.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed.
