At Farmland Hardware, the cashier role is about service, accuracy, and trust. Cashiers are often the first and last point of contact. You’ll run checkout, answer phones, and help customers with basic product needs—making sure every interaction reflects our values of honesty and service.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with professionalism and respect.
- Keep the front counter clean, organized, and stocked.
- Answer phones quickly and direct calls appropriately.
- Help customers locate products and answer common questions.
- Accurately process cash, card, and account transactions.
- Follow store policies for returns, account charges, and deliveries.
- Support promotions and seasonal programs.
- Restock front-end displays and supplies.
- Balance tills at open and close.
- Assist with general store tasks as needed.
- Attend staff meetings and follow safety standards.
Qualifications :
- Interest in learning hardware and farm products.
- Customer service skills with a professional attitude.
- Dependable and willing to help where needed.
- Basic math and register skills.
- Organized, accurate, and detail-minded.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Clear communicator with customers and staff.
- Physically able to move and lift products.
- Comfortable with POS systems.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
