Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

We are a small locally owned custom picture frame shop called Frame It Today, located in the basement of River Ridge Hardware. We are known in our neighborhood as the friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable hardware store and custom frame shop. Our customers are our number one priority, as we strive to provide the best customer service in the city.

We are looking for a quality employee who loves to work with customers helping them design their picture framing options. This individual will need to be self-starter, quick learner and someone who can adjust to different needs. If you are that person, you must be aware of details, be skilled at simple math and measurements, must be comfortable with power equipment and with a cash register and computer work. Custom frame experience and/or a art or design background is desired. We require all employees to pitch in where needs arise at the store and be flexible to help out.

Minimum Job requirements:

-Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills

-Comfortable operating power tools, framing equipment and glass cutter

-Customer Service Oriented- Customer service is a top priority

-You are a team player, open to learning our techniques and perform tasks as trained with consistency and accuracy.

-Have an artistic mind and are able to help design custom framing projects

-order supplies and materials

Physical Requirements:

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
