Marketing & Social Media Specialist – Hardware Industry

📍 Location: Village Hardware, Findlay & Leipsic Ohio (On-site / Hybrid)

About Us

Village Hardware is a local Family owned hardware store serving Northwest Ohio, offering quality tools, supplies, hearth products, outdoor power and expert advice. We’re looking for a Marketing & Social Media Specialist to help grow our brand, engage with our community, and drive foot traffic to our stores.

What You’ll Do
Manage all aspects of our Social Media & Marketing plan

Create print advertising for mailers, in store and sales distribution
Develop and manage engaging content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Plan and run targeted ad campaigns (Facebook/Google Ads) to attract local homeowners
Create short-form videos, reels, and posts featuring products, sales, and DIY projects
Manage online reviews and engage with customers on social media
Improve website SEO and oversee email marketing efforts
Track campaign performance and adjust strategies for better results

What We’re Looking For

🔹 Experience in social media marketing, content creation, and digital advertising
🔹 Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging visuals & videos
🔹 Knowledge of Facebook/Google Ads, SEO, and email marketing platforms
🔹 Passion for home improvement or prior experience in the hardware industry (a plus!)
🔹 Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team
