About the Role:

Farm & Home Hardware is seeking a Garden Center Associate to join our team in Ashland, Wellington & Wakeman, OH. As a Garden Center Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of plants and gardening products while providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting the right plants, gardening tools, and outdoor decor
Maintain the appearance of the garden center by watering plants, arranging displays, and keeping the area clean
Provide expert advice on plant care, pest control, and landscaping
Operate cash register and process transactions accurately
Assist with inventory management and restocking products

Requirements:

Previous retail or customer service experience
Knowledge of plants, gardening, and outdoor living products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
This is a seasonal position

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
